4. INFORMATIONAL CONTENT — LIMITATIONS AND NON-RELIANCE

AfterMatters LLC provides checklists, task guidance, deadline information, educational content, and other informational resources for general informational and organizational purposes only. AfterMatters LLC does not provide legal, tax, financial, medical, probate, funeral, or other professional advice. Information provided may contain errors, omissions, or outdated content. Requirements, deadlines, and procedures vary significantly by state, county, and individual circumstance. Do not rely on AfterMatters as your sole source for legal, financial, tax, medical, probate, or other important decisions. Always independently verify consequential information — including deadlines, filing requirements, and legal obligations — with the appropriate qualified professional or government agency. AfterMatters LLC shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or adverse consequence arising from reliance on information provided through the Service.

5. AI ASSISTANCE AND LIMITATIONS

AfterMatters includes an AI-powered assistant that provides supplemental explanations relating to AfterMatters checklist tasks and educational content. Users should not submit documents, Social Security numbers, account numbers, passwords, medical information, or other sensitive or confidential information through the assistant.

AI responses are generated automatically and may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or inapplicable to a user's specific circumstances or jurisdiction. The assistant does not determine legal authority, legal rights, filing deadlines, tax obligations, benefits eligibility, asset ownership, asset distribution, or other professional conclusions.

Do not use or rely on the AI assistant for legal, tax, financial, probate, medical, or other professional decisions. Important information must be independently verified with the appropriate qualified professional or government agency. Use of the assistant does not create an attorney-client, doctor-patient, fiduciary, or other professional relationship. Users remain responsible for their decisions, actions, filings, and deadlines.
